The presence of the Salvation Army in Derby came about well before the construction of the present place of worship. However, they have never stood still and have constantly adapted and changed to the days and times in which they existed. With the current social changes as well as the physical rebuilding of the city centre, they once again find themselves at a point whereby they need to consider many of the activities and programmes that currenty exist.
